* All tour schedules may be cancelled in cases of DMZ security threats, bad weather condition, or safety issues.

Tour Precautions

  • Those without ID* cannot enter, so please bring your ID. All entrants' identities will be verified before ticket issuance. (Provided, minors may enter when accompanied by a responsible adult)
    * ID : Korean citizens (resident registration card, driver's license, passport), foreigner (passport, alien registration card, US military ID)
  • Only those who are present at Imjingak may purchase tickets. (Tickets will be issued when all group members arrive)
  • Entry is not allowed with copies of IDs (screenshots, photos) or expired passports.

  • We are closed on Monday and weekdays on public holidays
  • You may purchase and pickup tickets from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and please note that the tickets are often sold out early.
  • DMZ Peace Tourism is a special area, and access may be restricted and booking may be cancelled in cases of emergency or weather condition without a prior notice.
  • Elderly, people with high/low pressure, mental/physical issues, respiratory problem, or drunk people may be restricted from entering the tunnel.
  • You are allowed to visit or tour only the designated areas. DMZ is a military operation area, and you cannot carry any arms, hazardous materials, alcohols, or fishing equipment. Do not capture animals, pick wild vegetables, or illegally dump trash. Areas other than designated roads are unidentified minefields, and access is strictly prohibited.
  • Please be aware that security cameras are installed for the safety and control of tourists in the demilitarized zone.
  • When you ride a Dorasan shuttle train, you must pass a separate access step at Imjingang Station and Dorasan Station.
  • DMZ Peace Tourism does not offer a separate tour guide. (Please accompany a tour guide before you enter.)
  • Please note that tourists using wheelchairs or tourists with mobility difficulties may not enter the 3rd Tunnel due to its narrow space and steep slope.
  • Please note that the fees for foreigners are not exempt in accordance with the ordinance on tourist facility management, operation, and fee.
